The welder’s ability to perform oral and written instructions and verification of welder’s personal skills are significant factors for ensuring the quality of welded products. Currently, this area is regulated by a number of standards and the whole area is constantly developing. The basic standards are as follows EN 287-1, EN ISO 9606-2 to EN ISO 9606-5 and EN 1418.
