Machinery constitutes the widest scope of activities of TÜV SÜD Czech s.r.o. We provide these services in conformity with harmonized European technical standards and regulations for both new machinery and machinery in operation. TÜV SÜD Czech s.r.o. as the Notified Body 1017 performs conformity assessment of machinery stated in Appendix No. 4 of Government Decree No. 24/2003 Coll. (Directive RE 2006/42/ES) using other regulations and standards.

Simultaneously as an inspection and certification body we perform the following activities:
• Certification of machinery according to European harmonized standards
• Analyses of risks of new and operated machinery
• Inspection of operated machinery as regards BOZP
• Assessment of risks within BOZP at workplaces
• Technical assistance when importing machinery from third countries

Legislation / standards:

Conformity assessment is performed in accordance with Act No. 22/1997 Coll. as amended and pursuant to NV No. 24/2003 Coll. as amended (Directive RE 2006/42/ES) and others using harmonized technical standards, and other related standards and regulations.
We perform inspections and assessments of technical conditions of operated machinery and risk analyses according to all currently effective Czech and European standards and regulations (e.g., NV 378/2001 Coll.).
