Verification of trading with greenhouse gas emissions
Brief characterization of the product / service:
Based on the National Allocation Plan on the Permission to Emit Greenhouse Gas equipment operators are bound to submit output documents via an Authorized Body. Following the UN Convention on Climate Changes of June 1992 the Kyoto Protocol (KP) was adopted on 11th December 1997 whose main objective is to secure and create legal framework to gradually cut down emissions of greenhouse gasses in order to reduce the risk of future climate changes. The Czech Republic is a KP contract party from 16th February 2005 when the KP came into effect.
