Brief characterization of the product / service:

Guided by the effort to prove necessary guarantees when processing and disposing waste, Czech Association of Waste Management, Association of Welfare Services and Waste Recycling Industry Union-APOREKO supported by the Ministry of the Environment have developed a guarantee system of all-round quality of offered services in the form of expert certification for waste management companies.

Certification of companies dealing in waste management mainly providing services under ISO standards is difficult and in the surrounding countries the ISO standards have been replaced by a specific certification called “Specialised Waste Management Company” which has further advantages for its holders.

The branch certification Specialised Waste Management Company incorporates both quality management and environmental management with the focus placed on the specifics of waste management.
