El. low voltage equipment

Brief characterization of the product / service – in general:

El. low voltage equipment is any equipment designed for use within nominal voltage from 50 to 1000 volts for alternate current and from 75 to 1500 volts for direct current. This involves in particular machinery, cooling, ventilating and air conditioning equipment and their distribution systems, components for electric distribution, regulation and measuring systems of low voltage systems.

Assessment of el. low voltage equipment is used for verification of its safety, i.e. the el. low voltage equipment meets the basic requirements stated in the technical specification.
