ISO/TS 16949
ISO/TS 16949 includes special requirements regarding the use of ISO 9001:2000 in organizations securing series production and production of spare parts in the automotive industry.
The objective of this technical specification is processing and implementation of a quality management system which allows continuous improvement while emphasizing fault prevention and decreasing variability and losses in the supplier chain.
This technical specification together with the use of specific customer requirements determines the basic requirements for quality management systems of companies that undertake to administer this document.

VDA 6.1
Requirements to direct suppliers and sub-suppliers of parts for the automotive industry. In addition to expert requirements, economic and customer oriented aspects are also evaluated.
Certification benefits:
- Currently the only possible qualified standard for the automotive industry for manufacturing plants not certified under ISO/TS 16949
VDA 6.4
Requirements for suppliers of production means (manufacture of machines, equipment, jigs, tools, and control means) for the automotive industry. As regards suppliers, this area includes both single-part production (special machines, etc.) and series production (components, possibly standard products) and their combinations.
